ABOUT THIS PLAY

"Available Light Theatre’s original masterpiece ... imaginative and honest ... Just beautiful. Please see Glue. "

– Lisa Much, Columbus Underground
"Heartfelt sincerity but also disarming playfulness ... packed with theater games, lists, parallel monologues, slide projections, flashbacks – and even a little singing and dancing."

– Michael Grossberg, Columbus Dispatch

Movement, music, and boldly theatrical moments mix in a new work about the ties that bind.

By what are we tied, one human being to another? What brings us together? What enables our friendships to last? And what do we lose when relationships and lifetimes come to an end?

In this brand-new, collaboratively-created play, Available Light tells the story of four friends celebrating someone they've lost, their dear friend Mark. Through the course of the play, they re-live pivotal events in their lives together, and explore the nuts and bolts of the ties that bind and how they work.
